Dianthus 'Frosty Fire'

Fragrant, brightly colored flowers and clean, attractive foliage combine to make a versatile addition to sunny borders, rock gardens and container plantings. In late spring, fluffy, deep pinkish red flowers that look like mini carnations bloom on slender stems atop dense mounds of slender blue-green leaves. Good companion plants include Yellow Coreopsis, Iris and Creeping Thyme. Deadhead after first bloom to encourage more.
